Alister Barrow is a Policy Advisor at Liberty Partners Group.
Alister began his career in the health insurance industry before launching his life science career in 2001. He has served in roles at Sanofi Pharmaceuticals as well as Boston Scientific (BSC), where he received the BSC President's Club Award before moving to Cordis in 2006.
During his career at Cordis, Alister worked as a Sales Representative and then became the World-Wide Learning & Development Manager where he had global responsibility. Alister also worked on behalf of Cordis to build and launch the Corporate Professional Development Plan for Sales Reps, Regional Managers and Directors. Alister was one of the top Directors for Cordis during his tenure.
Alister also has worked with J&J as a National Account Director for Synthes Craniomaxillofacial during the integration process with DePuy. Alister then transitioned into a National Account Director role with DePuy Synthes, where he was a strategic partner and cross functional leader to the company’s Area VPs and Regional Sales Managers. Alister had responsibility for all contracting, pricing and DePuy Synthes Advantage services within the Spine and Craniomaxillofacial portfolios.
Since 2015, Alister has served in a variety of additional roles including as a healthcare consultant, President and founder of multiple healthcare companies, and as a Policy Advisor at Liberty Partners Group.
Alister has performed multiple leadership roles outside of his traditional career, including as Co-Chair of the African American Leadership Council at DePuy Synthes. Alister also volunteers with at-risk youths in the inner cities of Maryland.
